ibis KLCC is the largest ibis in Asia Pacific. It is situated in Malaysia's Towering Capital Kuala Lumpur, and the flagship hotel for ibis. ibis KLCC is also near the city's iconic attraction, the Petronas Twin Towers.

The ibis KLCC offers a number of services such as spa, pool, gym, and complimentary shuttle service.

We booked the standard twin room for 2 nights (560.28 RM) inclusive of breakfast, 10% service charge, 6% tax, and RM 10 for Tourism tax for all foreign tourists.

Haji Lane is Singapore's hipster district. It is in the Kampong Glam neighborhood of Singapore where youngsters go shopping and chill at cafes in its wide range of fashion boutiques and Middle Eastern cafes.

Basically, Haji Lane is a long street of fashiom boutiques and cafes painted in colorful pastel murals making it Instagrammable.


How to go to Haji Lane:
From your location, ride the MRT going to Bugis. Haji Lane is a 5-10 minute walk from Bugis station.


Things to do in Haji Lane:
  • Take photos of the colorful murals
  • Try out the Selfie Coffee cafe!
  • Grab snacks! There are lots of cafes to choose from
  • Shop on pastel-colored boutiques




Surely, a lot of people who loves curating their Instagram feed will find Haji Lane a place to be Instagram worthy. With its bright and pastel colors, everyone can definitely double tap that photo on your feed.
Marina Bay Sands is one of Singapore's iconic landmarks and hotels and has the world's largest rooftop infinity pool. They offer a world-class dining and shopping to all tourists.

You can take a photo of the Marina Bay Sands at Esplanade Bridge near Merlion Park or of you want a closer view, you can also opt to take photos in Gardens by the Bay
Singapore's Merlion is one of the country's famous landmark that is located in the Central Business District - near One Fullerton, Singapore.

From its name, - Merlion - Singapore's Merlion is a mythical creature who has a lion's head and a body of a mermaid. 


How to go to Merlion Park:
Board the MRT from any station you are coming from and alight at Raffles Place. Take the exit going to United Overseas Bank Plaza (UOB). It's going to be quite a long walk, but along the plaza, you will see Fullerton Hotel. The Merlion Park is just behind the Fullerton Hotel.


Things to do within the Merlion Park:

  • Take photos on Esplanade Bridge with the view of Merlion statue, Marina Bay Sands, and Singapore skyline.
  • Take the Singapore River Cruise and enjoy a relaxing ride with the view of Merlion statue, Raffles Place, Marina Bay Sands, The Esplanade, and more.
  • Dine and eat snacks on the park's nearest food stalls.



Taking photos in the morning and night is both fine. There are a lot of tourists taking photos so you got to be patient and wait for your turn if you don't want photo bombers around. 

Night time starts at 7:30pm in Singapore so if you want to take photos of the Merlion Park and Singapore skyline at night, it's best to take it during this time.
Jewel Changi is the first attraction that you should see upon touchdown to Singapore. It is a nature-themed indoor entertainment and retail complex located at Changi Airport, Singapore. It is interconnected with all Changi Airport's passenger terminals and can easily be accessible by bus or by train.


Jewel Changi has many different attractions but the Rain Vortex is one of the most popular and makes Changi Airport as the best Airport in the world. 

Jewel Changi's Rain Vortex is the tallest indoor waterfall in the world. It stands 40 meters down the basement and will surely take you to a mystical splendour at night as it showcase a light and sound show.


How to go to Jewel Changi:
Jewel is connected to all terminals at Changi Airport.

From Terminal 1:
- it is connected to the Arrival Hall of Terminal 1.

Fron Terminal 2: 
Jewel is a 5 to 10-minute walk via a link bridge from the Departure Hall (level 2) of Terminal 2 (near row 1).

From Terminal 3:
Jewel is a 5 to 10-minute walk via a link bridge from the Departure Hall (level 2) of Terminal 3 (near row 11).

From Terminal 4:
Take the free airport shuttle bus service that plies between Terminal 4 and Terminal 2. From Terminal 2, Jewel is a 5 to 10-minute walk via a link bridge from its Departure Hall (level 2). 

Batu Caves is a 272-step limestone hill with a series of caves and temples in Selangor Malaysia. It has the tallest statue of Lord Murungan, a Hindu diety, standing at 140m tall.

Things to take note when going to Batu Caves:
  • Wear clothes that are below the knee. The guards are very strict on the entrance that you have to rent a sarong or scarf if you want to climb the 272-step hill.
  • There are birds and monkeys scattered along the lobby of Batu Caves. Be careful not to step on them.
  • If you have scarf or available pashmina, make sure to bring them with you especially if you are planning to wear dresses or shorts
  • Entrance is free. If someone comes over to you and asks for money or money trade, ignore them.
  • Expect it to be a little crowded because a lot of people and tourists go there for photos.
  • Remove your shoes when entering the temples. They are also strict with the length of your clothes when entering the temple
  • There is a fee for their toilets (1 MYR) but do not expect too much. It's actually dirty inside.
  • Make sure to bring water! It's too hot in there.



Because we were too tired on the previous day's itinerary from Singapore, we didn't climb up the hill to see the main cave. We just took photos outside the caves.

From your location, make sure that you alight at Bayfront Station Interchange, exit on Meadow Bridge.

If you're coming from Marina Bay Sands, take the underground linkway from Marina Bay Sands to Bayfront MRT.

In dire need of a vacation that will let you veer away from all the stress in the city?

If you are after a serene place while enjoying your peace during your much needed vacation, this island on the Northern part of Cebu can help calm your senses. Our country is rich in hidden paradise beaches and one of them is Paradise Beach in Bantayan Island.

The island is 3-4 hours away from the main city of Cebu and can be travelled by bus and ferry.


How to go to Bantayan Island

  • Fly to Mactan-Cebu International airport via your desired airline.
  • From Mactan-Cebu International Airport, take a cab/taxi/bus going to North Bus Terminal. 
  • From the North Bus Terminal, ride a bus going to Hagnaya Port. Travel time is around 3-4 hours. There is also a bus going directly to Santa Fe that will board the ferry, but you still have to pay the fare for the ferry.
  • If you're going to Hagnaya Port only, board a ferry bound to Santa Fe. Travel time is around 1 hour and first trip is at 3am. There will also be a terminal and ecological fees that will be collected.
  • You can rent a motorbike or ride a tricycle going to your booked resort.


Activities/Attractions in Bantayan Island

  • Camp Sawi Ruins - If you have watched Camp Sawi, this ruins became famous from this movie, where you can also jump/dive from the cliff.





  • Paradise Beach - You will most likely stay in this beach for the rest of your stay. The beach is indeed a paradise because of its crystal clear water and fine white sand. Entrance fee is P50 per person.

  • There is no store within the beach where you can buy snacks, but there is a small diner before you enter the resort. If you have carry-on snacks, you can bring them to the beach but make sure to take them back with you so that we can keep the place clean!

  • Kota Beach and Sand Bar - This beach is on low tide in the morning and has a mini sand bar that arises in noon. This beach also became famous from the Camp Sawi movie.
  • Ob-Ob Mangrove Park - It is a mangrove forest where with a pathway to a view where you can do kayaking. Entrance fee is P50. Kayaks for rent is P150.









  • There are also nearby islands from Bantayan that you can go to - Virgin Island and Hilantagan Island. 

    The photos says it all - this is indeed a Paradise beach.

    How to go there:
    👉 We arrived at Victory Liner Pasay around 9:30PM and last trip to Dagupan is 9:45PM. Fare is 392php for Aircon bus
    👉 You can alternately ride the bus going to Sta. Cruz, Zambales and alight at Burgos Market. First trip is 12:30AM. Fare is 507php.
    👉 Buy your food at Burgos Market because there is no available food at Roven's Place. Budget will depend how long are you going to stay.
    👉 Ride a tricycle going to Cabongaoan Beach Resort. Travel time is 1 hour. Fare is 350php per tricycle. You can contact kuya Bogs at 0939-149-6351.


    Going back to Manila:
    👉 You can contact the same tricycle who accompanied you to the beach.
    👉 Drop off at Burgos market and ride a bus/jeep going to Alaminos, Pangasinan. We rode a jeep, fare is 26php
    👉 From Alaminos, there are bus terminals going back to Manila. Most are going to Cubao. Fare is 393php to Cubao

    Budget per head: 2,500php




    Expenses:
    Fare to Dagupan from Pasay (Aircon) - 392php
    Fare to Burgos from Dagupan (Ordinary) - 96php
    Tricycle to Cabongaoan Beach - 350php/way
    Cottage/Nipa Hut fan room - 1,200php per night (cheaper contribution if you are coming in group. 1 nipa hut can fit 4-6pax)
    👉 If you want aircon room, price is 2,000 per night but it's cold at night even if you are in a fan room.
    Food (Pork, chicken, condiments, etc) - 500php/head
    Jeep to Alaminos - 26php
    Bus from Alaminos to Cubao - 393php

    👉 Extra Expenses:
    Water gallon - 50php
    Pancit Canton for snacks 😂😂 - 30php - cooking included
    Cooking Fee - depends on you how much you are going to give 😉



    Things to remember:
    👉 It is a remote area and mobile signal is weak. You can enjoy the beach as much as you want without distractions.
    👉 Great escape if you want to relax
    👉  Travel time depends on traffic. Normal travel time to Dagupan is 5-6 hours. Dagupan to Burgos takes about 3 hours.
