Singapore and Malaysia usually go hand-in-hand for travelers because these countries are closely connected to each other. It is advisable that you start your trip at Singapore before Malaysia because the attractions in Singapore can easily be visited in a few days, unlike with Malaysia which is a huge country and would require more days to visit some other attractions. 

Let me share with you our sample itinerary for our Singapore-Malaysia trip.

How to go to Jewel from Changi T4:
Ride a bus/shuttle going to Jewel. It's free!

📌 Go back to hotel (You can either book Grab/Taxi, or take the MRT from Changi Airport station) 

We stayed at Cube Boutique Capsule Hotel at Chinatown

Day 1:






📌 Chinatown Food Street & Gift Shop


You can buy pasalubongs for 5/6/7 for $10
Food choices ranges from $1 to $15

Must try: Hoaker Chan Soya Soy Chicken ($5)

📌 Buddha Tooth Relic Temple
📌 Sri Mariaman Temple

📌 Little India
From Chinatown, ride the MRT North East Line going to Little India

Day 2: City Tour



Attractions to visit:
📍 Raffles Place
📍 Esplanade Bridge
📍 Helix Bridge
📍 Ingram Micro Asia (had to visit our Singapore office!)
📍 Haji Lane

Singapore City tour will require you a lot of walking. Make sure to use comfy shoes or sandals! 

Day 3: Malaysia Countryside Tour

Day 4: City Tour
📍 Petronas Twin Tower
📍 Petaling Street Market
📍 Jalan Alor Night Food Street
Food choices from 5 MYR+

We stayed at Ibis Hotel Kuala Lumpur City Center for 2 nights. We just wanted to take a chill vacation after the long walking in the streets of Singapore!





Our trip costed 21,000 php ALL-IN, but you can lessen that up to 17,000php to 18,000php because we had a lot of extra side trips here, and we took Grab cars as well.
